Mary and Joseph

Remember Mary and Joseph? The Bible doesn't really say what happened to Joseph. Here's one thought. Every time Mary talks to Jesus in the Bible she's trying to boss Him around or is unhappy with what He's done. And yet when God chose Mary for the job He said that she'd found favor with God. Maybe God likes bossy women that are hard to get along with. one idea is that she had incredibly strong soul energy that cut short Joseph's life. I've seen it happen time and time again.

Luke 1
[26] And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
[27] To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
[28] And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

When you get this kind of endorsement, it's easy to let it go to your head.

I killed a rabbit

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triumph_TR7

It was a little after 5 a.m. . With Kingman Arizona in my rearview mirror the next stop was Vegas. There were no other cars on the road. I eased the TR7 up to a hundred and four miles per hour and put the center of the hood on the center stripe of the two-lane road. There was a guy that used to say, I'll take my half out of the middle. There was a cotton tail rabbit sitting on the  right side off on the shoulder. My right hand reached out and grabbed the four speed stick shift. At the last possible moment it darted perpendicular to My velocity vector, somehow managing to miss all four tires. There was a small bump transferred to my right hand as it hit the transmission case. The rear view mirror revealed the limp body flopping to a stop. It seemed better to be eaten by scavengers, than to be run over by cars all day, so I backed up and tossed it off the road.

The rabbit's existence in this dimension was complete. We will meet again on that Day, or so I believe.

Jesus saves, God orchestrates

With some hesitation this post is added.

Many years ago I drove a sporty little mercury Capri. It had a 302 v8 with the fake hood scoop. Anyway, at that time we were a growing family of three. Everyone else was asleep, driving south on I-25 out of Pueblo Colorado. The ridges from the Rocky mountains ran east and the highway dipped down into a broad valley. It was early morning, the pavement was dry, and no-one was on the road. The speedometer read 75 mph. As we crossed the valley some thin spotty fog drifted by. The thought came up, slow down. But being determined to make good time, the gas peddle didn't move. Suddenly the fog thickened, still patchy, but dense. A sense of heightened awareness swept over me. Still the speedometer held. Then it happened, the rear-ends of three full grown elk appeared, just leaving our lane and moving left. I lifted my foot and started to steer right, but froze. Several more elk heads came out of the fog on the right as they came onto the shoulder of our lane. They all whipped by at 75mph. I slammed on the brakes. My wife jerked awake. "What's wrong?" Being a good republican I thought,  "I almost killed us." If 600 pounds of elk had come through the windshield, we would have all  died instantly.

Was it random chance, fate, divine intervention? It was all of the above, and then some. Even some sort of weird destiny.

Guns!

Guns guns guns.
Guns for one, Guns for all!
Guns are great.
Guns at School.
Guns at work.
Guns at play.
Guns at church.
I don't have any problem with guns.
It's people I worry about.
