Well in typical fashion something that started out to be an Improvement has turned out almost worse. There's a spring loaded gate at the entrance to our community. The spring squeaked. After dousing it in oil the spring is now silent, but instead the gate closes more quickly. This causes it 2 slam behind you. Wouldn't it be great if there was a fix that just made everything better.
Wouldn't it be great if the gate closed silently smoothly and gently behind you latching with an almost silent but confident click? Yes, that would be great.
